ANNEKE KRIEK BESOEK DIE FILIPPYNE




Die Filippyne bestaan uit 7 000 eilande! Ongelooflik. Die een dag het ons die Taal Vulkaan besoek. Jô! Die stappie tot bo was nogal erg, maar definitief die moeite werd. Nog iets ouliks en wat ek nog nooit elders gesien het nie, is hul plaaslike taxis, Jeepneys. Die Filippyne is ook ‘n goeie bestemming as jy vir goedkoop, mooi varswater pêrels wil koop.

ANNEKE KRIEK VISITS VIETNAM




This was my 2nd visit to Vietnam, and I would love to go again! It is really just such a cheap destination. Accommodation, food, shopping, even the day tours! For a full day Mekong Delta tour with lunch, we paid R100! A schwarma and coke = R9 if you buy it from a vendor on the street. Even a big sit down dinner in a restaurant could easily only be R40.
The economy in Vietnam must be doing really well - all over new buildings are going up. Their secret is that although the country and especially tourism are doing extremely well, they still keep their prices low.
Except for Ho Chi Minh, other big tourist attractions are Nha Trang and Halong Bay. Vietnam is definitely a destination that you can put on your “places to see” list

Boland Travel, situated in Paarl in the heart of the Winelands, was established in 1984 and has been in ownership of Mr & Mrs Ferucci since February 1989.

The Company is managed by Marianne Strydom, Managing Director. We are situated in the Ou Tuin Centre, on the corner of Breda & Van Der Lingen streets in Paarl. The Company has a staff compliment of 10. The Travel Manager is assisted by 4 consultants. We have 3 Accounts/Admin personnel and a Sales & Marketing Executive.
